About Callisto Jewellery

Welcome to Callisto Jewellery, based in the small North Ayrshire town of Beith.

My name is Aileen Quinn and I started making beaded jewellery about18 months ago. After selling some pieces at work at Christmas 2007, and the continued interest of friends and colleagues I decided to develop my hobby and started exhibiting at a local craft fair. Never satisfied by half measures, I then enrolled in week long silver-smithing summer school in July 2008 at Cardonald College in Glasgow – which was great fun – and has allowed me to be more creative. 

All Callisto Jewellery pieces are designed and handcrafted by myself using sterling silver, semi-precious gems and the occasional Swarovski crystal. If the piece you want not available as stock, a new item is made to order specially for you, and as I also work full-time, is usually dispatched within 10 days of order. All items are sent via recorded delivery, if you require secure delivery then please get in touch.

Often customers have something particular in mind and making bespoke jewellery is particularly rewarding for both myself and the customer. Here are just two examples - a matt solid silver ivy leaf brooch with a handmade clasp and a set of brushed sterling silver pendant and earrings enhanced with 9ct gold.
