Slate Clock

Classically simple and naturally elegant, 'Islay Slate Company' clocks are made from slates collected from Islay's shores and ruined buildings and of course, embody the very thing which on Islay is well and truely on our side - time. A glance at these clocks will remind you of a place where relics of the past still have space to resonates through the present; where barrels of malt lie patiently in wait; where each season folds into the next and brings its own mystery and wonder : the deep purple heather, the aqua blue seas, the wild winter waves and auburn autumn hills: 

Nothing is set in stone...but perhaps some things should be. 

Our clocks have been produced using the traditional slate, dating from over 100 years, from the Ballachulish Quarries and reclaimed from the roofs of ancient and now derelict properties on Islay.

The clock itself is 30cm x 18cm and its presentation box is 32cm x 20cm.
